About My Aviaries

I pride myself on having perhaps the most unique collection of cockatoos worldwide. I specialise in working exclusively with the subspecies of Australian White Cockatoos and Gang Gangs.. Thus my invitation to present to the Dutch Parrot Symposium 26th May 2013. Whilst out of Australia I visited countries as diverse as Singapore, The Netherlands, Belgium, The Czech Republic and Thailand/Bangkok seeing very few of the cockatoos I hold in foreign collections.
I am working with Australian White Cockatoos in subspecies, 4 Subspecies of Short Billed Corellas Sanguinea sanguinea, S. gymnopis, S.westralensis and S.normantoni, both Western Australian Long Billed Corella subspecies Pastinator pastinator, P.derbeyi, Eastern Long Billed Corellas Tenuirostris, also in my aviaries are 2 subspecies of the Major Mitchell Cockatoo Lophura leadbeateri and Lophura leadbeateri mollis , likewise 2 subspecies of the Sulphur Crested Cockatoo Galerita galerita and Galerita fitzroyi and the presently recognised 3 subspecies of Galahs Eolophus roseicapillus, E.r.kuhli and E.r.albiceps . I have some cockatoo chicks hatched for 2018 as at 5th October 2018, chicks that I am presently hand raising 18-12-2018 include 2 Muirs Corellas Pastinator pastinator 3 Western Corellas P.derbeyi and 1 Northern Short Billed Corella Sanguinea sanguinea, as of present 18-12-2018 whilst still on 3 supplementary feeds per day these 6 Corella chicks are starting to wean onto a variety of fresh foods including seeding grasses, sprouted seed, and vegetables and fruit. shortly I will be taking non-refundable deposits for those chicks (due to issues arising in past seasons where I have held birds for people who never come back). Chicks will be hand raised, stainless steel close rung, certified surgically sexed by Dr Michael Cannon January 2019, certified PBFD free by PCR blood test by MDS Australia. 2018 chicks available when fully weaned early 2019. Also for sale breeding pair of Muirs Corellas, pairs each Eastern Long Billed Corellas and WA Galahs.
