We are incredibly passionate about education amongst bird-keepers, and those involved in Aviculture, so host a wide array of Events (both free and paid) for the benefit of all. If you are a Member of The Parrot Society of Australia, you will receive discounted entry to any paid Event run by us, plus so much more.

North Brisbane Bird Sale 2025

The North Brisbane Bird Sale for 2025 will be making its way back to the Moreton Bay Region on Saturday 17th May 2025!

You can now purchase your tickets (either for entry, sales table, or trade table) completely online!

Over the last few years this Avicultural Event has continued to grow exponentially, with the previous year seeing another record turnout. With a huge array of species on display as well as a brilliant variety of product suppliers; this is one Event not to be missed!

The Event is hosted at the Caboolture Showgrounds, and is wheelchair and pram accessible (there is some semi-rough terrain in areas). You don't have to be a buyer to attend. Even if you just want to come and look at some of the amazing bird life that is available in Australian Aviculture, we welcome guests of all ages. It is a great opportunity for children to see some amazing creatures and meet like minded people.

All birds that enter this Event are inspected by a fully qualified Avian Veterinarian, and all those displaying birds for Sale must abide by the Avian Code of Practice. For those booking a table at the event, you will be able to access the Sale between 7 and 8am (details to be confirmed). Please queue at the rear of the Sale area, as it is shaded. Please ensure all birds and display cages abide by the Avian Code of Practice. We will turn away any that don't abide by the Code, or appear sick/overly distressed. Please Download the NBBS code of conduct form here and look over the requirements before booking your table. Be aware that licencing laws for native parrots in Queensland have been recently updated. You may check our updated list of native bird licencing requirements here.
